TwentyFour Asset Management

TwentyFour uses animated explainer videos to educate professional investors about fixed-income investing. The goal is to strengthen TwentyFour's reputation as fixed-income experts and raise awareness of their investments. Similar to their award-winning RMBS explainer animation (which experienced a 512% increase in views compared to their previous videos), the video prepares prospects ahead of meetings. The approach ensures that discussions focus on valuable topics, such as benefits of the asset class, rather than spending precious time explaining it.

While the animation received positive feedback initially, it was in March 2023 that it truly caught the attention of the financial media. Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), the go-to bank for tech companies in Silicon Valley and beyond, collapsed, causing widespread anxiety about other vulnerable banks and triggering concerns about the onset of a new financial crisis like 2008.

Fortunately, lessons were learned from that previous banking crisis, and AT1 bonds emerged as one preventative measure that banks are required to issue to investors. The term became a buzzword in media coverage of SVB, sparking a surge of interest from people keen to learn more about AT1 bonds. The Financial TImes described it as 'an excellent explainer' in their coverage of the episode and TwentyFour's AT1 page rose to the top of Google-ranked searches for the subject.

The video is a great example of an explainer animation designed to educate audiences, generate exposure and establish TwentyFour as the industry authority on fixed-income investing.
